Times, TV info for three Miami Hurricanes games released

Unlike several ACC foes who are part of a huge opening weekend, Miami won’t have a marquee game until midseason. That’s Oct. 8, when Florida State comes to town.

The first two games of Mark Richt‘s tenure as Hurricanes coach won’t even be on TV.

The ACC announced Thursday that UM’s first two games will be streamed online at ESPN3.com and the WatchESPN app.

The ACC also has a deal with numerous regional networks (such as Fox Sports Florida) but ACC spokesman Mike Finn said in an email that UM’s first two games will be online-only.

So if you’re not planning on attending, make sure you can access a good WiFi or hardwired connection.

There remains a chance, should the Dolphins fail to complete its $450 million renovation on time, that Miami’s first two games could be moved. Orlando is an option, UM AD Blake James told us earlier this month. Whether that would affect start times is unknown.

The conference also announced the start time of the Hurricanes’ Thursday, Oct. 20 game at Virginia Tech, which will be carried on ESPN. That game will kick off at 7 p.m.

Last week, NBC announced the Oct. 29 Miami-Notre Dame game in South Bend would start at 3:30 p.m. It will be shown coast-to-coast.
