Demeatrius “D.J.” Ivey Jr., a junior-to-be at Homestead-South Dade High, announced his pledge on Twitter.

He is the fourth cornerback committed for 2018, joining four-star recruits (per 247) Gilbert Frierson and Josh Jobe and three-star Thomas Burns.

According to 247Sports, Ivey has offers from Louisville, West Virginia, Kentucky, Syracuse and FAU.

He is listed at 6-foot-1 and 180 pounds.

He is a fan of former Hurricanes cornerback Artie Burns, and apparently bears resemblance to him.
