Miami’s annual fan celebration will showcase a completely remodeled Hard Rock Stadium.

CanesFest will be held this year at the stadium, rather than UM’s campus, from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, UM said Wednesday.

It is free and open to the public. Parking is also fee. Lots open at noon and the stadium opens at 1 p.m.

The event includes autograph sessions with UM players. Fans will need a voucher for autographs and, according to UM, “certain activities.” Vouchers will be distributed at 1 p.m. on the day of the event. They are first-come, first-served, according to UM, which apparently means a limited number will be distributed.

Hard Rock Stadium, which is completing parking lot, club and suite level renovations this summer, will also host a variety of other CanesFest activities. Among them, per UM:

  • Exclusive season ticket holder activities and experiences
  • Behind the scenes stadium tours
  • Select-a-Seat season ticket opportunities
  • Photo opportunities with UM cheerleaders, the Maniac and Sebastian the Ibis
  • Scavenger hunt for young fans
  • Fan zone interactive activities

A schedule of events, per UM:

  • Select-a-seat — 1 p.m.
  • Autograph voucher distribution – 1 p.m.
  • Football team photo (on field) – 1:45 p.m.
  • Stadium tours – 2-4 p.m.
  • Football team autographs – 2:30-3:30 p.m.

The Hurricanes open practice Aug. 1. They open their season Sept. 2 at Hard Rock Stadium against Bethune-Cookman.
