Add Central Michigan to the list of non-conference opponents Miami will face in the coming seasons.

UM announced Monday it will host the Chippewas, of the Mid-American Conference, on Sept. 21, 2019 at Hard Rock Stadium.

It will be the first meeting of the schools. The Hurricanes are 5-0 against MAC Schools in their history.

UM kicks off the 2019 season against Florida in Orlando.

A school press release stated the Hurricanes also have future out-of-conference games scheduled with LSU in Arlington, Texas (2018), Michigan State (2020 and 2021) and Texas A&M (2022 and 2023).

UM has also agreed to a home-and-home series with Temple (2020 and 2023) and has games scheduled against Toledo (2017 and 2018) and Appalachian State (2021).

Miami opens fall practice Tuesday morning.
