2-minute drill: Malik Rosier on Miami Hurricanes scrimmage, QB battle

CORAL GABLES — When Malik Rosier is on, he reminds his coaches of Aaron Murray.

Aaron Murray, if you’re not familiar, was an outstanding college quarterback. Playing for Mark Richt at Georgia, he broke the SEC’s record for career passing yards, touchdowns completions and total yards, and his junior year (2012) led the league in passing yards, yards per attempt and touchdowns.

Rosier, a redshirt junior, hopes to show he’s capable of taking over Miami’s starting job after two years as Brad Kaaya‘s backup. More thoughts from Rosier in the two-minute video below.
