By the time the sun has set on Oct. 7, Miami will have done one of two things:

Extended its misery against Florida State or broken a hard-luck streak.

The 2017 edition of UM-FSU will kick off at 3:30 p.m. on either ABC or ESPN, the ACC announced Monday.

The network will be decided after the games of Sept. 30.

The game, which is in Tallahassee this year, was originally slated for 8 p.m. Sept. 16. The ACC moved the game because of Hurricane Irma. Both teams had a bye Oct. 7.

Miami (2-0), ranked 14th in this week’s Associated Press poll, has lost seven in a row to the Seminoles, who are 0-2 and unranked after losing to top-ranked Alabama and last week, North Carolina State at home. FSU was the preseason No. 3 team.
