Hard Rock Stadium (Richard Graulich/The Palm Beach Post)

Keep it locked here for updates leading up to today’s 3:30 p.m. kickoff (ESPN) between the eighth-ranked Hurricanes (5-0, 3-0 ACC) and Syracuse (4-3, 2-1) at Hard Rock Stadium:

Ahmmon Richards (hamstring) is dressed and warming up, as is Dayall Harris (served three-game suspension) and right guard Navaughn Donaldson (right ankle sprain).

Tight end Michael Irvin II was not spotted during warmups. A UM spokesperson didn’t immediately comment.

GameDay picks

ESPN’s crew leans Miami. Desmond Howard probably meant “four cornerbacks,” not “four DBs.”

Weather report

Per AccuWeather: High of 87 degrees, with a “feels like” temperature of 94. Breezy and humid with clouds and sun; a morning shower or two, then a thunderstorm in spots.

There could be a thunderstorm near kickoff, and showers by 8 p.m.

’87 champs feted

Today will be a celebration of the 1987 national championship team, apparently. An honorary captain? Bennie Blades.

Additionally, per UM, fans can take photos with members of the team:

Seems familiar

Hurricanes fans who lived through the Al Golden era may sympathize with Tennessee, which still employs Butch Jones. Fans have traveled far and wide to spread an anti-Jones message.
