Mark Richt is a proud grandpa who loves candy corn

A happy Mark Richt. (Matt Porter/The Palm Beach Post)

CORAL GABLES — Well, we had to wait until after Halloween to find out, but now we know where Mark Richt stands in the great candy corn debate.

(The debate: is candy corn good or not? I say absolutely not. It’s sugary wax and it’s pretty bad. I have no issues with you liking it. Go ahead. Me disliking it means more for you.)

We also got to see Richt get really excited about a bag of candy that included Butterfingers (and York Peppermint Patties, another favorite), got another taste of Richt’s proclivity for particular methods of eating, heard his opinion on another holiday food, and learned the costume his young granddaughter, Jadyn, wore on Halloween.
