Unbeaten Miami is off to its best start since 2002. No surprise that fans are jumping on the bandwagon — and buying tons of Hurricanes gear.

Some details from an ESPN story posted Monday:

* Online retailer Fanatics said Miami merchandise sales are up 580 percent from a year ago, and sales the last two weeks doubled all of November 2016.

* Dyme Lyfe, the Hurricanes-themed clothing company founded by former UM linebacker D.J. Williams, said his two-year-old brand had its biggest sales month ($208,000) in October, and did $150,000 in sales during Notre Dame week.

* Miami’s bookstore and the AllCanes retail shop, both owned by the same company, reported a 300 percent increase in sales over last November. The company’s vice president said the Turnover Chain t-shirt is “by far the best selling item we’ve had in 15 years.”

* Williams said he has sold 700 aluminum replica chains, and has 1,000 more on a waiting list.
