Clemson is on top, and Miami is an underdog entering Saturday’s ACC Championship in Charlotte (8 p.m., ABC).

According to odds monitored by VegasInsider, the Tigers opened as a 7.5-point favorite against the Hurricanes.

Clemson (11-1, 7-1 ACC) jumped three spots to No. 1 in the Associated Press poll after dominating South Carolina on Saturday. After Friday’s upset loss at Pittsburgh, Miami (10-1, 7-1) dropped five spots to No. 7.

The Tigers are likely to be atop the next batch of College Football Playoff rankings, which is released Tuesday. The Canes will drop out of the top four.

Elsewhere on Sunday: ESPN announced College GameDay will be in Charlotte for the ACC title game. This is the second time this season UM has been in the GameDay featured matchup. The other was before its 41-8 win over Notre Dame on Nov. 11.
