The Hurricanes added a four-star wide receiver to their 2019 recruiting class.

Jeremiah Payton, from Neptune Beach-Fletcher High, announced his commitment on Tuesday.

Payton (6-3, 180) is ranked 83rd among all 2019 prospects by 247Sports, and 15th among wide recievers. ESPN ranks him 105th and 20th at his position. Rivals lists him 156th and 29th at his position. He chose UM over offers from Alabama, Arkansas and more than a dozen others.

He becomes the highest-rated player in Miami’s 2019 class, which also includes four-star wideout Brieon Fuller (Miami-Doral Academy). With his commitment, 247Sports now ranks UM’s group of 10 commits No. 1 nationally for 2019.
