Miami finished the regular season on a four-game winning streak, all by a combined eight points.

Close calls or not, the Hurricanes are in excellent position entering the ACC Tournament.

Saturday’s win over Virginia Tech, combined with North Carolina’s loss at Duke, helped clinch for UM the No. 3 seed in Brooklyn.

The Hurricanes (22-8, 11-7 ACC) will play at 9 p.m. Thursday (ESPN or ESPN2) against either sixth-seeded UNC, 11th-seeded Syracuse or 14th-seeded Wake Forest.
