CORAL GABLES — As Miami’s coaching staff tries to keep its players focused on getting to a national championship, Las Vegas is believing a little more in the Hurricanes’ ability to do so.

According to odds released Tuesday by Bovada, eighth-ranked Miami (6-0, 4-0 ACC) is a 25-to-1 shot to win it all this year.

Editorial comment: Those are the lowest odds I’ve seen since taking over this beat in 2013.

Miami was 66-to-1 before the season, and 28-to-1 last week.

This week, UM is tied with Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and TCU.

Ahead of that group: Alabama (5-to-6), Ohio State (5-to-1), Penn State (7-to-1), Clemson and Georgia (10-to-1), Notre Dame (18-to-1) and Wisconsin (22-to-1).
